Jessica Dean Full Bio

Jessica joined Power Kunkle May 2010. As Executive Vice President of Benefits, she is responsible for new business development, management of her client accounts and overall strategic planning of the agency. Jessica has extensive knowledge of benefits including market trends, plan designs, pricing, funding alternatives, contribution analysis and employee communication.

Jessica began her insurance career in 1997 as an Account Executive for Capital Blue Cross. The experience gained during that tenure enables her to develop creative solutions while efficiently negotiating with the carriers to obtain cost-effective plans to meet each client’s individual company philosophy.

Jessica received her BSBA from Shippensburg University. She is a member of NABIP (National Associations of Business Insurance Professionals) and previously served as the President of the Pennsylvania State Chapter. Through these organizations Jessica meets with legislators on the state and federal level to advocate on behalf of businesses in the area of employee benefits. Jessica is an active member in the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce serving on the Executive Board and the Berks Chapter of Society of Human Resource Manager (SHRM) and has participated on the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce’s Employee Benefit Committee. Jessica is a PIAA Basketball official and resides in Schuylkill County with her husband where they raised three children.
